Chetu Employee Review About Experience And Working Environment.

Bhartendu Sharma (VP of Operations)
“I joined Chetu on March 1, 2007 as a Technical Project Manager. After a few years, I moved into the role of Director of Operations before moving on to fill the role of VP of Operations in April 2010. I enjoy working with Chetu because it provides many opportunities for personal and professional growth.
For example, I used to find it challenging to handle difficult situations with project delivery but I have found that working with the team on a day to day basis I can identify problems quickly and develop a workable solution that is beneficial to our clients. As a business student, this position has been a dream opportunity for me because I have been responsible for helping to expand the business and operations to the US west coast when we opened our offices in Las Vegas in 2009 and to continue to see how we expand and grow each year.”
Satyaban Ray ( Floor Manager for Chetu )
“I joined Chetu in 2004 as a software developer, but I progressed from team member to floor manager over the course of my time with Chetu. There is always something new to do, some new challenge to overcome, which is very exciting for me because I know that even if I do not succeed at something today, I will succeed tomorrow.
Chetu has helped me grow by encouraging me to develop my communication skills because there are plenty of opportunities to express myself to my team members and to clients. I enjoy the fact that I have had the liberty to work with a number of different platforms and technologies – I am not limited to one technology, but can choose to learn many programming languages and expand my abilities. Chetu is a place where hard work and dedication pay off. The opportunity to progress, to move up the ladder – these are opportunities that I feel I would not have had if I had joined one of the larger companies in the area.”
Craig Schmidt  (Director of Global Sales for the Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Industry)
“I have been working for Chetu for 6.5 years. I was hired as Director of Global Sales for Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals as part of Chetu’s growth strategy. When I started, the Healthcare vertical was small – we had only a handful of Healthcare clients that represented a small fraction of Chetu’s total revenue.
I have had the opportunity to help us grow our presence in that industry and today, Healthcare and Pharma is one of the largest verticals.  Working with Chetu has challenged me to grow as a person, to keep learning and improving my sales skills.  This helps me better understand the unique challenges that face the healthcare industry in terms of software development.   The more I help my customers be successful directly affects my success. In a sense, I have had the opportunity to join a wildly successful “start-up” and watch it grow into the dynamic business it is today. It has been a fast, challenging, rewarding and successful ride.”
Joe Maltese ( Global Director of Sales for Gaming,Self-Service, eLearning, and Entertainment )
“I was hired in March 2007 to help generate new business for Chetu. It was kind of a different world back then because we didn’t have a lot of the processes, proven methods, canvassing, marketing collateral, or even a CRM to help manage leads. Everything was done manually – I literally started with just a telephone, an empty piece of paper, and a phone book. I would grab a list and start cold calling without much method or strategy.
The real game changer came with trade shows, which I started attending in 2008. Then the CEO came up with the strategy of breaking up territories by industry instead of geography, which has allowed us to promote ourselves as industry experts because we are segmented by expertise rather than area. That was an absolutely brilliant strategy because it means the whole world is our territory and we can go for anything in our industry. One of the things I love about this job is that the opportunity to succeed is tied to how driven you are to see that success. The new team members who come in have the opportunity to learn from the “trial and error” of the long time sales team members. I truly believe that there will always be a need for our services because the world runs on technology and that tech is always changing. People come out with new software, new technology, new techniques and we will be right there with them offering our development services.”
Markandey Pathak
